Anthropologie Really?

6:00:00 AM

I made my first trip to
Anthropologie today.
I don't know where I've been... but I'm in Love!

What a great store!
I wanted one of everything in the store!
I came home with this knob...

and a couple of wire frames...

But what really caught my eye...
was this great dragonfly picture.

I love dragonflies only the price tag wasn't
working for me.
(I had to sneak this pic in the store!)
Using what I had at home I thought
I'd see what I could come up with...

I distressed this frame, it has a beautiful
silver rim around the inside edge.

I found a dragonfly picture on

I added some French stamps from a
scrap booking kit.

And voila!
I think it turned out pretty cute!
And I'm so going back to Anthropologie!

  6. Great idea! Your version is every bit as clever and classy at Antro. But, I do love all the cool stuff they carry.

  7. Nice finds. I agree, Anthropologie has neat things but much of their furniture, pictures, etc are so overpriced! Dropping by from Met Monday. Hope you'll check out the chairs I had recovered when you have a few minutes.

  10. Love what you did with the dragonfly image. Don't you just love the Graphics Fairy? I've never been to Anthropology. I'm almost afraid to go, but I'm sure I'd get a lot of inspiration if I did. This is my first visit to your blog. I'm coming from BNOTP today. I'm a new follower and I'd love it if you visited me and followed me as well.
