Today I'm thinking about eggs...
My Spring decorating already includes a few eggs,
cute little blue bird eggs...
I'm thinking however, Spring decorating
might include some other fancy eggs...
(since Easter is late this year we won't call them Easter Eggs just yet)
(since Easter is late this year we won't call them Easter Eggs just yet)
In my "Spring box" I found some fabulous eggs I might choose to use...
I have brown paper eggs...
and pastel speckled eggs...
crackled eggs...
and textured eggs...
even Russian eggs...
I also saw these great eggs in the PB catalog...
(I'm going to try these next...)
If that wasn't enough eggs, I thought I'd try these...
I started out with the brown paper eggs...
Then I cut up some old book pages into little pieces...
Got out my Mod Podge...
And began gluing the pieces to the egg...
It took a lot of smoothing to get the paper to lay flat...
Then I let them dry...
Pretty cute!
A coat of sealer, and we're done!
...more eggs to add to the collection!
It's an egg-stravaganza!

Love book print and music print on about anything. I bought a small box last summer, simply because of the print on it. (It combined two of my faves- little objects and print!) So did I love teaching because of both of these? Mayhaps!
