Thankfully

Thankfully, I'm an organized person and my posts are set up
to post for the next few weeks...

because...

not only was I starting school with a new classroom to set up
and a new class to meet...

But after only 2 days back to school...

I broke my ankle and I'm laid up for a while...

Can't even put weight on it for at least a week!
The moral of this story is...
always be prepared
and
do not ever walk down stairs in the dark!

  7. Oh no, Susan! I hope you're not in a lot of pain. Just make sure you stay off it - you don't want to have a longer recuperation. I know I find it difficult to sit still unless I have something good to read or watch while I'm sitting!

  11. Ouch. That is one way to get more "vacation" (smile). I almost tripped down the stairs trying to avoid the dog. The whole neighborhood would have heard it if I broke a bone (I am SUCH a wuss).

Hope you're not in too much pain.

  13. So sorry to hear you are laid up! My dear friend some years back, a new (young) widow with three small children, fell down her steps with the baby in her arms. Baby was fine-my friend, not so--she broke both her arms! To hear her tell the story now--she laughs-we laugh-a lot-but can't imagine it was too funny at the time! Do rest up...great time to catch up on blog hopping! Blessings, Sharon

  15. Oh my word! So sorry to hear about your ankle! Praying you aren't in much pain and for quick healing! Have fun surfing the internet! (Or as my 5 year old calls it, "the dot com"!) On the plus side, I cannot wait to see what things you "pin" while you're laid up this week! ;)
