Bring on the Cold!

I'm ready for the warmth of the cozy wood burning stove...

We're having our first measurable snowfall today... Weird for the middle of January around here... Last year by now we had over 3 feet already!

Beautiful clean, crisp, white snow...
(but not too much please)

I just love flickering candles burning in every room...

Piping hot coffee on a cold winter's morning...

And a toasty warm house to come home to each day...

How lucky we are!

May you all find the beauty in every day!

  2. Love the clock with that old gear, Susan! I see you've got a collection of little white creamers, too. I don't know what it is about them but I love them and have a few. Not necessarily a matching sugar bowl, I just like the creamers! : )

Stay warm and safe! We may have some ice later with snow on top, which is just "lovely".

  10. That's a perfect post for me to read today. We are getting pounded with snow and I am freezing....ran out of coffee. Ugh..sending the husband out for more. We are lucky to be warm and toasty inside.

  12. I would love to have some snow here in middle Tennessee but it's just not happening. We are having 60 degree weather here.

Your mantel is very pretty, by the way. :)

    Nice visiting with you.

  15. Hi Lesa,
The Santos was an ornament this year from Pottery Barn. I actually got it 1/2 off (yay!) I'm not sure if it is still available.... Good luck Lesa.
