Photo Frame

I found a really old large frame by the side of the road...
(yeah, by the side of the road again!)

It was old and chippy and beautiful!

I added a quote around the outer edge of the frame...
"a picture's worth a thousand words"

strung some jute wrapped wire back and forth across the back of the frame....

Clipped on some old photos with stained and
distressed clothespins...

and added some newspaper garland and my initial
for adornment.

This was also a great place to hang
my Christmas cards and a few mini ornaments!

  6. Really! I swear people here put things they don't want out for the garbage man! On my drive to work, on a good day, I stop 3 times and pick something up! Shutters, wood, frames... people clean out their garages over the weekend and purge! My favorite thing to do but I really embarrass my kids sometimes! LOL

  12. Great minds think alike, I made a similar one for my home, I love changing it for each season, and adding postcards from friends. They love seeing their things displayed when they come for a visit.
