Christmas Santa Mantel

My mantel changes every Christmas
but there is one thing for sure...
My Santas are always there!
I am a Santa Claus collecter...

and in the past 25 years I have gone way overboard
collecting Santa Clauses!

Truth be told... I have over 200 Santas!

I have big Santas...

and small Santas...

Even some very naked ones...

But I'm finding that as the years go by, less and less of them are ending up out for Christmas... I think my house is shrinking...
there is just no place to put so many Santas anymore...

So now I choose my very favorite Santas and sprinkle them
around the house... across the mantel...

and across the shelf above the window...

This one is my very favorite...
He was given to me by my brother years ago...

I love my little nakie guys too, the kids always loved them!

So now I have a box full of Santas in my basement...
Hopefully my four daughters will want to start Santa
collections of their own someday.

My family wishes all of you a very
Merry Christmas
and a
Happy and Healthy
New Year!

  1. Using them on the mantel is a great idea to show off your collection Susan! I left lots of things behind in my bins when I called it done this year. I'll be going through everything in January before they all go back up in the attic again. I gave a lot of Christmas stuff to my daughter last year and she is using it now.

    Merry Christmas!

  3. Merry Christmas Susan.
What a luvly Santa Collection. I had a snow man collection and as my lads grew up, and my niece and nephew admired it so, I chose a few to keep and sent them all the others years ago. They still enjoy them every year.
I agree, the house is shrinking as I too had loads of leftovers to restore when I was done. Hmmm...
    Have a wonderful day.
