Seasonal Cloche Lamp

Last year I posted about the cloche lamp I
found at Target... it continues to be one of my favorite picks...

A Christmas update to this simple lamp makes an
ever-changing seasonal statement...

For the season I placed the lamp on top a Pottery Barn pedestal...

A rusty gear, an old pulley and some hand painted
pinecones made a cozy place for Santa this Christmas...

In a few days when the Christmas decorations go away, this cloche lamp will get a new look when I fill it
with wire snowflakes and snowmen...

Happy New Year everyone!!!

  2. I dont shop at Target often (too far out of the way mostly)but I had a shopping day with my sister Saturday and I saw this lamp (or one really similar).. I was just thinking of all the different ways it could be changed out. Yours looked great for Christmas.
Hope you have a very Happy New Year. Looking forward to what 2013 brings us from Homeroad.

  4. What a great little decorating item! So versatile too...I wonder if you could cut the top off one of those gawd - awful glear glass ginger jar lamps they used to fill with dried flowers?
