Last year I posted about the cloche lamp I
found at Target... it continues to be one of my favorite picks...
A Christmas update to this simple lamp makes an
ever-changing seasonal statement...
For the season I placed the lamp on top a Pottery Barn pedestal...
A rusty gear, an old pulley and some hand painted
pinecones made a cozy place for Santa this Christmas...
In a few days when the Christmas decorations go away, this cloche lamp will get a new look when I fill it
with wire snowflakes and snowmen...
Happy New Year everyone!!!
Happy New Year everyone!!!

Awesome idea for the uses of that lamp; wonder if Target still has those! You make all your home projects so pretty and special. Have a great week and a wonderful New Year!
ReplyDeleteThank you sooo much! I got the lamp last spring so I'm not sure if they still carry it... check on line.

I dont shop at Target often (too far out of the way mostly)but I had a shopping day with my sister Saturday and I saw this lamp (or one really similar).. I was just thinking of all the different ways it could be changed out. Yours looked great for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a very Happy New Year. Looking forward to what 2013 brings us from Homeroad.
I pinned it of course, like I do most of your creative stuff. You have been such an inspiration to me, so glad to have found your blog and ideas.

What a great little decorating item! So versatile too...I wonder if you could cut the top off one of those gawd - awful glear glass ginger jar lamps they used to fill with dried flowers?
ReplyDeleteI bet you could Nadine... that's a great idea for anyone that can't find this lamp!
DeleteI would love to find the Pottery Barn pedestal! Ive looked on PB website, ebay, etc! Was this a recent purchase? Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteDaisy I got the pedestal for Christmas last year.... I'm sure you could find something similar or paint an old ugly one! Good luck!
