A couple coats of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Graphite with clear wax gave me the perfect color and finish for my bedroom.

Headboard painted dark grey

Painting with chalk paint is easy, it gives you great coverage, two coats is usually more than enough... with no messy priming.

Chalk paint cleans up like a dream...

I painted this piece right in the middle of my kitchen!

My brushes, my hands, and the floor clean up with soap and water.

The clear wax applies easily and gives the furniture a rich and protective finish.

Bed with white comforter and red heart pillows

I was so happy with the results I painted the tops of the dressers.

Distressing the edge is a cinch, just run a fine grit sandpaper over the edge and wax!

Not a bad deal for under $100!!
