A Re-purposed Head Board

A while back I re-purposed an antique headboard
into a chalkboard memo board...

Truth be told when it was finished I hated it...
Didn't like the color, the knobs I used, or the writing...

So I re-purposed the re-purposed headboard one more time...
After all, it's a girls prerogative to change her mind...

I repainted the headboard with Annie Sloan
chalk paint in Paris Gray. A much better color than the green!

Instead of the word "Notes" I glued on wooden
trim I found at a yard sale...

and a scrabble shelf for the chalk.

This re-purposed memo board looks a heck of a lot better now!

It sold quickly at the flea market last weekend!
