Fundraiser Bench

6:00:00 AM

This bench is a winner.... not only for the recipient,
but for our school as well!

Our school holds a Spring Fair every year.
Each class is encouraged to make a project to donate to the cause.

This year our Brownie Troop created a
bench that was so awesome I just had to share it.
I wish I could say this was my idea... but it wasn't.

Each of the girls created a beautifully painted clay tile that was glazed and fired at a local art/clay shop.

Similar tiles could be made by using acrylic paints on a tile and coating the tiles with a poly coat.

The tiles were attached to a board that was attached to the back of the bench and trimmed with decorative wood.

The bench was a hit! It raised a ton of money for the school and
is going to look awesome in one lucky family's home.

A beautiful project and excellent fundraiser!
Great job Brownies!
Very Creative!

    1. Lorena I did not make this bench but I believe they made a board to fit the bench back. They then attached the tiles and grouted. They then used trim molding to trim the edges. Beautiful right??
