Farm Tool Handle Hooks

I've been saving these two tool handles for years now...

and today I decided what to do with them.

I cut what was left of this jagged wooden handle flat
on top. I coated the weathered handle with dark stain to bring out the richness of the wood, then added a vintage hook.

The second one has a great rusty metal patina.

What it didn't have was any kind of wooden pole in the metal handle so I added a short wooden pole with a hook.

These great farm tool handles give
farmhouse character to an otherwise ordinary hook.
