Painting Galvanized Steel

These galvanized steel watering cans were
not vintage... cute but needed some help.

As I've said before... Annie Sloan Chalk Paint
can stick to almost anything!

I painted the watering can with Robins Egg Blue
then gave it a coat of matte sealer.

The image was actually ironed on
using Riley's TAP Paper and then distressed with
sandpaper and yes... it was a little tricky but it worked!

I distressed the edges of the watering can with
sandpaper to distress it a little bit.

Now it looks much better... fill it with flowers,
use it to water plants,  or give it as a gift.
