Burlap Message Center

A vintage canvas becomes a burlap message center.

I grabbed this wooden frame from the garbage at work...
Don't they know me by now?

An old canvas frame with the picture missing, only the
old wooden frame was left but it was gold to me!

In the workshop I attached burlap to the frame with a staple gun.

Let me start by saying that this project was directly inspired by my good blogging buddy Donna from Funky Junk Interiors.

Donna gives me inspiration, guidance, and encouragement
on a daily basis.

I used large twine, I found a huge bolt of macrame jute at a garage sale, a primo find! It may just last me the rest of my life.

I tied knots in the jute then screwed the knots into the side of the frame so the twine zig-zagged back and forth across the burlap.

Hang it on the back of a door or anyplace you need to hang a note or an adorable picture of one of your adorable children.
