St. Patrick's Day Lucky Find

A lucky find for St. Patrick's Day!

rustic and distressed shamrock bowl

I am reposting this beautiful shamrock bowl this morning as a reminder that you can create rustic and repurposed holiday decor for pennies.

A visit to the neighborhood thrift store gave me a great opportunity to turn this sad looking scratched wooden  bowl.

It is shaped like a shamrock but I believe it is supposed to be a club from a deck of cards.

I turned it into a beautiful festive bowl ready for St. Patrick's Day decorating.

A couple coats of bright green craft paint topped off with a dark wax for an antiqued look.

You sure can't make enough St. Patrick's Day decorations for your home!

and it's "Top of the Table" for this one!
