Vintage Mirror Repurposed Into Wall Hooks

This scrap piece had the shape I was looking for to create
hanging wall hooks.

This was the top of an old mirror. The glass had broken and only the top piece was left when I found it hidden behind some other pieces at the antique store.

I knew I had found a treasure.

I brought the piece home and painted it using Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint in Kitchen Scale.

When the milk paint dried I sealed it with Hemp Oil.

The Miss Mustard Seed Hemp Oil darkens the paint
and gives it a beautifully rich finish.

I added coat hooks to the piece and it is now ready to
be hung in someone's home as a beautiful coat rack.

There are so many wonderful uses for parts and pieces of old furniture.

I love to think about how I can use a piece again,
giving it a new life!
