Vintage Juicemaster® Memo Board

I love to create with vintage finds and today I found the wooden base of
an old Juicemaster® fruit press with the old label still intact.

It was a great find and you know I couldn't wait to turn it into something someone could use in their vintage kitchen...

I began by cutting a piece of pre-made chalkboard to the right size and gluing it to the board with E6000 glue. The clamps held it in place until the glue dried.

There were holes in the board from the old fruit press but I did my best to camouflage them.

I had a tiny metal spoon in my stash that said pinch on it. I bent the spoon so it could be used as a hook to hold keys.

The next step was to paint a small piece of Scrabble board to use as a chalk shelf. I painted it a close match to the green in the label.

I attached a sawtooth hanger to the back of the board and this adorable vintage memo board is ready for business! Hang it near the door to hang keys and keep reminders handy.

How adorable this would look in someone's Farmhouse vintage kitchen!
