A Beautiful Christmas Mantel With My Favorite Things
This Christmas our mantel is simple and rustic...
As I get older I'm seeing that simple is best.
I find I only want to be surrounded by my favorite things.
Truth is I have a lot of favorite things!
This mantel has some of my favorite pieces, some that stay up all year long like this ladder I made a while back using scrap wood and chair dowels.
The reindeer family came from one of my favorite antique shops. I can always find something unique and gorgeous in one of the many fabulous shops.
The vintage funnel tree I learned to make at Organized Clutter is one I will not sell. I've made several in the past but this one is the perfect size and shape and it's mine.
I draped fairy lights over the top of the mantel and it gives it a beautiful glow at night.
I think my favorite things mantel is beautiful and rustic this year.
