How I Made a Chalkboard From Vintage Shoe Forms
This pair of children's vintage wooden shoe forms was adorable and needed a new life.
I found a similar idea on Pinterest for sale, the adult sized shoe forms were turned into an ipad stand... adorable!
So why not do the same for a chalkboard?
This was a simple DIY... I just used a hand saw to cut a channel in the top of each shoe form and using E6000 I attached a vintage green chalkboard into the slot.
I added a clothespin to the top to hold photos, receipts, or notes.
And that was it!
A simple DIY that gives these adorable little shoe forms a functional use while still keeping their original vintage character.
