How to Make a DIY Set of Pallet Angel Wings6:29:00 AM
Wooden angel wings can be pretty expensive to buy so I'm doing my own
DIY from a found pallet... FREE!
First I drew the shape I wanted on a piece of computer paper.
My wings are small... about 5" x10" each.
I traced my shape onto a piece of found pallet wood then cut out the wings with my scroll saw.
I used Pure White Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® to paint the wings but you could paint yours with any paint you have at home.
Then I distressed the edges heavily.
I attached both wings to a small block of wood on the back and attached a key knob as a hanger in the center.
The best part is that you can make these wings in any shape or size you want.
Large wings can be made with 1" x 12" wood from Home Depot.
I'm making these for the Homeroad Shop.
Give it a try and have fun!
