Repurposed Glass Door Welcome Sign Mirror

This project began with an old glass cabinet door.

I searched the Silhouette store for a welcome sign I could cut from vinyl using my Silhouette vinyl cutter
I cut the vinyl and attached it to the front of the glass window.

The next step was easy... I taped off the wood on the back of the door with masking tape.

Using mirrored spray paint I sprayed several coats of mirror letting it dry between coats.

I added galvanized metal hooks with screw eyes to the top of the frame for hanging and painted the brass cabinet knob with Fusion Mineral Paint Metallic in Brushed Steel to match the hooks.

This was a fun and easy project that gave a new life to an old glass cabinet door that was headed for the trash.
