Vintage Ladle Succulent Planter and How to Plant Succulents

How fun to combine a love of repurposing
with a green thumb?

Years ago I made a bunch of repurposed ladle projects using everything from vintage enamelware ladles to small silver ladles.

As luck would have it I still had a few newer ones left when
I moved my shop.

Today I'm repurposing my repurposed project by planting the vintage ladles (that used to be candle holders) with succulents.

Succulents are easy to propagate, all you do is to stick the babies on top of the soil and they throw out tiny roots that burrow down into the soil.

That's it... and bonus for me, succulents are the only thing I can grow because you can forget to water them for a long time.

I also have the perfect wall between some large windows in my kitchen that is the perfect place to hang this project where they will get plenty of light.
