I found this extra large wooden platter at the thrift store then brought it home and painted the top white.

Today I'm using one of the stencils from the Old Sign Stencil collection by Funky Junk Interiors.

I started out by spraying the back of the stencil with spray adhesive.

The spray adhesive makes it easy to stencil the Old Sign Stencil grain sack stencil onto the center of the tray.

On top of the grain sack stripe I used the Lunch stencil and using a foam pouncer, stenciled on the image using several light coats of paint.

I love this platter and it was so easy to make!
