Honoring Long Marriages

In Honor of Marriage
A photo display through the ages.

This is me on my wedding day.
1991

We've been married for 28 years...

This is my mother on her wedding day...
1958

They've been married for 61 years...

This is my mother's mother on her wedding day...
1934

They were married for 69 years.

And this is my mother's mothers mother
on her wedding day...
1905

They were married for 62 years.

I'm honoring their long marriages in my home
by dedicating a special shelf to all the brides and grooms.

And now to update with my own family...

Two new son-in-laws have joined our family
since this post was originally written.

Now we have 2 new photos to
add to this ever-growing group of wedding photos!

Someday we have 2 more daughters to join the family wedding photo shelf. May the history of long marriages in our family be an example to all.
