My inspiration came today from a high end catalog that was sent to my house...
and why would I order from a high end catalog when I can get the look for
less!?
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
I began this project by repurposing an old framed bulletin board I had in the
basement.
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
At one point I painted everything I could find a chalky white but my tastes
have changed and I'm very into the vintage gold and brass look lately.
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">See what I did...</p>

I don't do full price, especially on things I hope I can fix. </p><p><br></p><p>The vintage gold frame had a matted Claude Monet print in it called The Water Lily Pond. Do you find baskets at the thrift store? Do you have a house full of baskets
and some in need of a makeover?
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
Today I'll show you how to make the easiest makeover on an old basket.
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
I had a basket in need of some TLC and found a way to do it in minutes!

This story started out in the thrift store with a happy little accident.
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
I bought a little Zara lamp that was 75% off. It ended up to be only $2.00 and
it was brand new.
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
I wanted a cute little lamp for my kitchen to use as a small accent light.
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
The lamp didn't have a shade but it did have a beautiful fabric cord with a
switch so I figured I could work out something when I got home.
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">See what happened....</p>

</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
Only I'm cheap. Well, cheap and I just love to create things myself. Get the
look for less.
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
And I did, I got a similar look using things I had around the house and aside
from the spray paint, it was free!
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
Today's project is for Valentine's Day and they are the cutest hearts made
with air dried clay.

> </b
>that I couldn't wait to give it a try!
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
I've used other air dried clay in the past with pretty good luck and since I'm
all about trying new products, here goes!
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
The best part is that you can make this project in any shape and for any
occasion!

<p style="text-align: left;">
That's the way it works for me, I just keep making things until it's time to
pack them all away for another year.
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
I've seen a lot of projects lately using vintage buttons on barnwood and it
gave me a good idea.
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">
Grab your vintage button collection and a scrap of fabric and follow
along!
</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><br></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Take a look...</p>
