French Postcard Banner

10:35:00 PM

Here is a quick project I made while laid up with a broken foot this fall... I had to work on projects I could do while keeping my foot up in a cast.

I saw this great banner made by

and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with the
French Postcards my friend Patty gave to me...

The postcards are gorgeous and I wanted
some way to show them off...

I began by punching 2 holes in each postcard...

...tied hemp string through each hole and secured each postcard with a knot...

They were ready to hang on the mantel, for a party, or anywhere I need a quick little French Design...

Finished with one foot up on a chair!

Thank goodness all is well now!
