Tin Ceiling Tile Backsplash

These beautiful tin tiles are the compliments of the
Thrift Store...
$3.00

I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them...
I wasn't wild about the gold but the copper and the silver were very pretty...
Looking around my kitchen I found the perfect place...
The backsplash over the stove...

Step one was to use the sticky squares
that came with the tiles to attach them to the wall...
a temporary fix until I pull out the contact cement for a permanent hold...
Luckily they fit perfectly all the way across the top of the stove area,
no cutting required!

It was meant to be!

I love the way they look...

The tin tiles go great with my eclectic kitchen...
most of my treasures are thrift store finds!

Kitchen looks great, I might need to learn to cook...

  3. Nothing like the thrift stores. I visited one of my favorite collectible malls the other day and found one thing for a decent price, but no steal. Went to my Goodwill the same day and found quite a few things for next to nothing. Puts a smile on my face.:) Your tiles were quite the find! Congrats~
