Garden Gate Valance

7:37:00 AM

there is one thing that stays the same...

A valance made from a garden fence...

A section of fence tied to the window hardware...
decorated with postcards, small baskets and lots of junk.

White curtain pieces hang on each side...

And you'd never guess that this fence piece is plastic!

  2. That is SO CLEVER! I will be scouring Menards and Home Depot! I have look out windows that are about 40" in the basement, the light gets cut back by curtains but this would be perfect!!! Thanks for sharing that they are plastic, I would have been searching for metal forever!

  3. I thought that was so clever and amazing looking that I pinned it back then and it was an insanely popular pin! I was shocked when I found these and discovered that they were only plastic (it made even happier because of the weight of metal) I painted mine white and put them on the outside of my garden shed. It REALLY sets it off! Thank YOU for such a great idea!!
