Hand Painted Pennants
This project was a collaborative effort...
My daughter Kasey hand painted the pennants
on triangles of canvas...
and I added the grommets and the twine...
I was lucky enough to be the recipient of a ton of
mini grommets and a grommet maker.
A friend knew someone who was downsizing her
crafts and she immediately thought of me. (Thanks Jean!)
I knew those thousands of colored grommets
would come in handy some day.
They were perfect for this project!
Adorable for a party or just for festive decorating.
And I got a matching chevron Homeroad sign in the deal too!
Love!!! Pinning your brilliance!! ;)

ReplyDeleteAre your triangles sewn as two pieces of fabric or just cut with pinking shears?
ReplyDeleteThe triangles are heavy canvas cut with straight scissors Cindy :)
DeleteCute, your daughter did good and so did your friend.

This is such a great idea. I love the way the pennant turned out. Grommets are an inspired little detail... Your daughter did a very good job painting them... very subtle and pretty.
ReplyDeleteCute, Susan! The grommets are really a great detail.
