Spring Organizer

I found a metal spring at the thrift shop and
to the best of my knowledge it is some kind of organizer,

but if you know me...

I certainly couldn't leave it like this...

I attached the metal spring to a piece of
painted and distressed wood.

Felt feet were added so the screws don't scratch furniture...

The new and improved spring organizer is perfect
for displaying your favorite photos...

or for sorting and organizing mail
and papers in the office.

  1. I had to look when I saw this! Just a few weeks ago I found a spring in a thrift shop and had to bring it home so I could have a cutting board holder. LOL! Great minds think alike! I love the idea of attaching it to a sturdier surface like you did.

  2. You find the coolest stuff!! I like your spring organizer and it looks great mounted on the board!

  3. love it susan, I agree with Heather... you find the BEST stuff!

  4. When I saw this I was like what in the world. But, you turned it into something useful. Love it!! Thank you for sharing at Throwback Thursdays!
