Oil Can Creation and a Creative Fog

This is my Saturday morning...
probably not what the typical mother is up to.

I'm sitting in the kitchen at 6 in the morning... downed 2 cups of coffee already, laundry is started, kitchen is clean (or at least as clean as it will ever be)...

In front of me on the table is a mini oil can... hmmm... I'm thinking....

What if I....

Ring holder....

Truth be told I've actually made one before... whipped one up and sold it on Etsy a few years back....

You can see that Oil Can Ring Holder [here]

Anyway, one thing leads to another.... I forget all about what I was about to do in the kitchen and I head for the basement, my mind spinning in a hundred different directions...

What else can I make with this cute little oil can?....

Oil can clip...??

How about a different clip?

Before I know it about 4 hours have passed in my workshop...

I'm in my paint splattered pajamas, music jamming in the background and I'm still playing with an old oil can...

I'm simultaneously finishing up a few projects left from a previous creative burst.

I pulled out the paint and painted a few new items I want to use for my next projects... something to finish on my next trip to the workshop.

Daughters and husband are beginning to wake up about now... time to emerge from my creative fog and see what they are up to today.

Happy Creative Weekend!
