This project is a wall art makeover.  I know, kinda strange but I've done it before and I'm doing it again. 
I'm creating a stenciled Christmas tree farm sign from an old painting that hung in my house. 
This project definitely had some challenges but the new stenciled Christmas sign looks great in my home now!

Today's project fills a need for sure! 
I have a workshop in my basement but I work all over the house. I craft in the office and right on our huge kitchen island. 
I am forever forgetting things that I need in the basement. Or if I try to bring up everything I need I usually have my hands and my pockets full on the way up the stairs. 
Today I'm going to fix that problem...

I love it when I find great baskets at the thrift store. 
This weekend I found a beautiful one and while I could have left it as it was, I decided to make it even cuter with a stenciled design. 
I saw a similar basket on another website and there is no reason why you couldn't quickly and easily make one yourself!

These Valentine's Day pillow covers are just the cutest and they were so easy to make!
The big take-away from this project is to keep your eye out in the clearance section for upcoming holidays!

I'm kinda loving making Christmas signs this year. 
When I saw this gorgeous sign on Antique Farmhouse and then again in a few other places, I knew it was a sign I need to make! 
I used a vinyl cutter but if you don't have one, stencils are available that give the same look. 
There is also the "transfer" method that has always worked well for me.

Today's project was simply because I had extra stencils from another project and I found a board. 
An old chippy board from an outdoor project that had spent the summer outdoors was perfect for this chippy Christmas sign.

Those of you hard core vintage folks might want to cover your eyes for this one. 
But the truth is that this vintage soda crate sat in my basement for the past 10 years doing nothing. 
As a matter of fact I have 2 so I am sacrificing the vintage factor on this to create an adorable Christmas crate that we will use for years to come! 

When I find an easy thrift store makeover I'm on it! 
I'm usually not in the door for long before I've got the project started.
Especially when it's an adorable little Fall project that can be done in no time while watching TV. 
Today I found just that easy project that took no time to finish and right away I put it to good use! 

I am quickly working through my stash of scrap wood during this time at home and I luckily never seem to be out of projects. Today I'm creating scrap wood garden markers for our garden that's just about finished. 

I ran quickly through our neighborhood church fair this weekend and came home with a treasure!
