Today I'm making an easy pillow to match the look of the centerpiece tray and it couldn't be easier!

I'm beginning to think about Fall. Did I just really say that? Summer is winding down and it's time to start thinking about making Fall projects. 
I got excited for Fall when I saw an awesome orange striped crate online and I made my own longer version with a grain sack look.

This was an amazingly quick project that made a world of difference to my front porch. 
I have a tiny front porch with a bench. The bench had a store bought cushion on it and it was boring! 
Today I'm using scraps of grain sack fabric from another project to create a new holiday look for the bench on my front porch. It's a casual look that screams "come sit".

I'm on my way to having my first ever guest room! Another one of my 4 children are moving on and I'm getting an empty room! Since she is taking everything from her room with her, I'm in need of some new furniture including a headboard...

Today I'm repurposing a wooden scoop I found at the thrift store and I'm thinking flowers!  

I was lucky enough to be gifted this very large hand made sled when they cleaned out the shop at my school.

When I saw this basket for sale on a popular website I knew this was something I could easily make!

Today I'm finally finished decorating the den. 

Often I will see something on Pinterest or on another blog that I save so I can make it myself one day.

I've been busy making organizing and memo board projects.

It's another day and once again I pulled a U turn in the middle of the road on my way to work.

I had the day off with my car in the shop so I used this day to work on projects for my next craft fair.
You had to see my kitchen... sewing machine out, paint, tables, trunks, transfers, totes... you name it, I was working on it. It looked a little like Santa's workshop.
I thought I had more time but just realized that the craft fair I signed up for was taking place in 2 weeks...Yikes!

Today I'm using scrap pieces of grain sack fabric from repurposed napkins for the front of the pillows and striped ticking fabric on the back.

Using a product called Transfer Artist PaperI printed out a bee and wreath image from the Graphics Fair.


I added a cute little rusty bellto the center of the wreath.
Another pillow I made is the same as the bee/wreath
