This project began with a photo my friend posted on her Facebook page. It was a tray of hearts all made from random pieces of hardware. 
I loved it and decided I needed to give it a try... with a little encouragement from my friend. Challenge accepted! 
I went straight to my basement workshop to see what I could use and how this was even possible.

I've needed a new step stool for a while now.  
I have 6 little grandchildren that need to reach the bathroom sink. 
When I saw a rustic one that looked easy to make I was on it!
I used reclaimed wood from my workshop and it was even easier than I imagined to make! 

Sometimes I like to just mess around in the workshop and see what I come up with. Today that was my plan and I think my project is pretty darn cute! 

If you have an old basement with the laundry downstairs like me, you may want ideas to update and refresh your space.  This project has been on my mind for years and now that I finally got around to it, I am thrilled! 

We live in a 60 year old colonial with a basement that we never refinished.
My laundry and my workshop are in the basement so I spend a lot of time down there.

Today I'm dragging out the jig saw.  I honestly haven't used it in a long time but a new friend uses it all the time for her amazing projects so I'm dragging it out of the corner!

I've done it before and I'm doing it again only this time I'm taking a new approach to painting a cement floor. 

Can you paint an old dirty slop sink?That was the question I had. My latest project was to completely clean and organize my work space and I'm beginning with the sink.

I started this project in great need, need of organizing some of my craft supplies in the workshop. The mess was getting out of hand and I needed to create some kind of storage to organize all these supplies I use all the time.

Today I'm repurposing a repurposed project.
