How to Make a DIY Upcycled Chalkboard
I recently found a very ugly picture in
a really beautiful frame.
Luckily...
My Valspar free sample came today!
I popped out the picture and gave the frame a coat of white.
The frame looks beautiful in white!
Then I painted the backing board that was inside the frame with chalkboard paint.
I let the paint dry, and then rubbed the side of the
chalk over the board and erased it, this keeps the chalk
writing from staining the chalkboard.
And the result is an awesome chalkboard
in a beautiful white frame!
I hope you enjoyed this project and you'll take a look at my Amazon Shop for craft supplies I recommend. Also while you're here please sign up for the Homeroad emails on my sidebar so I can send my latest DIY post straight to you.
I love this!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the awesome tip about running the chalk over the board prior to using it!
