How to Make Newsprint Easter Eggs

Today I'm thinking about creating fun eggs.

Easter eggs covered in book page scraps

I'm thinking my Spring decorating should include some unique eggs this year.

Brown paper eggs to decoupage

So I started out using brown paper eggs.

Then I cut up old book pages into little pieces, you can also use newspaper.

I got out my Mod Podgeand began gluing the pieces to the egg.

It took a lot of smoothing to get the paper to lay flat.

Then I let them dry.

  20. Love book print and music print on about anything. I bought a small box last summer, simply because of the print on it. (It combined two of my faves- little objects and print!) So did I love teaching because of both of these? Mayhaps!
