I made the cutest mini garland today on a whim.
I had no plans to do this, I had my new watercolor paints out and it just kind of happened.
This garland is so tiny and is great to hang on small places like a small wreath.
You may even have everything you need at home right now!

Good morning! I say morning no matter what time it is when you're reading this because I'm an early bird. I get most of my projects done and posts written before 8 am. Thanks to my puppy I'm an early riser!
I always love the Fall, not only because it is cooler outside, but because I love to make repurposed pumpkin decorations.
Today I'm making probably one of my favorite pumpkins! I'm combining my love of scrapbooking with my love of making creative pumpkins.

Here is a small book stack project for Spring. First, for those of you that may be concerned, no books were harmed during this DIY project...

Here is a fun and easy project you can make while watching TV! Who doesn't like to keep their hands busy while watching a good movie? ...

Here's an ornament project that just couldn't be easier.  I've been working on some projects lately using an old discarded paperback book and I decided to create an ornament today...

Today I'm sharing 4 of my favorite unique repurposed storage ideas.

Here is an easy and inexpensive project using old yellowed discarded books.

This is one of my favorite projects that isn't only good for Christmas but holds all kinds of notes and cards in an office.

My idea for this project began with a few less than spectacular dollar store pumpkins. I wanted to repurpose them and turn them into something farmhouse and fabulous for my fall decor.

My first thought was to just add vintage hardware parts and create stems on these beauties... but no.

That fix sure wasn't working, it needed something else.
Creating an old newspaper look:
I decided to cut up an old book and decoupage small pieces of yellowed book pages to the pumpkins.

While I liked the decoupaged pumpkins so much better, the stems were still not right.
How to create a repurposed stem:
I dug deep into my stash of metal lamp parts and came up with pieces that did the trick.

I repurposed a couple of small, old drawers today, you almost don't recognize them as drawers anymore.
