Oh I like this idea, it is making me think about how I could use bookends after all.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan, I just bought a couple sets of those "yucky" metal bookends at the thrifts store with intentions of junking them up too. Wish I had some of those cool weights...love how you just tied them on with twine...my kind of project :) Chat soon, Laurel
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the bookend picture thought to myself, where is she going with this? Another amazing idea. Keep them coming girl. Love the bookends.

The most amazing part is that you found weights all rusty like that! I never see stuff like that in my area. Neat redo.

ReplyDeleteBookends that can be a cellphone holder is really imaginative. I don't imagined that a bookends can be a cellphone holder too. Sounds good! When the time past, more and more people would surely try this one.
ReplyDeleteIt was a cool thing what you did to your book ends. With the barbels that you added, the book ends will also have additional support to the books.
ReplyDeleteThis decorative set of bookends is made of hand forged and hand hammered metal finished in heavily antiqued golden bronze.
ReplyDeleteLook good, ideal for a man's study. Love it.
