How to Make a Tripod Floor Lamp

Found on the side of the road this week.

Check out that tall thing in the back...
it's an old wooden tripod!

I'm psyched! Because I want to make one of these lamps...

$349.00

And here's how I'm going to do it for $13.00.

First you need a light kit.
(had one... free)

Take it apart and thread it through the hole at the top of the tripod and add a light bulb.

Put the wires back together and make sure it works.

Good it did!

Next, I need a shade.
I got this one at Target.

Did you notice that shelf in the middle?

Couldn't let that just sit there with nothing on it!

I think it turned out really great!
Well worth the $336.00 savings!
