How to Make a Wire Christmas Tree

Did you ever buy something from the thrift store
and not know what it was?

Well, that was the case when I bought this "wire thingy" for $1.00 at the thrift store.

I read the directions when I got home and found out it could be put together to make a Christmas Tree.

A Christmas tree? Really?

It was only $1.00 so I gave it a try, surely I could make something out of it if it didn't look like a tree.

Ok so far, kind of Christmas Tree like but what do you do with this now?

I decided to make it look more like a Christmas tree than this so I visited the craft store and came home with these...

Berry Garland.

I wrapped the berry garland around the wire tree.

I tied it on with strips of paint cloth and greens.

and now this "wire thingy" did look
like a Christmas tree!

Later I thought it might need a small string of lights, some hanging red balls or even a star on top!

  8. Yes, your primitive Christmas Tree is wonderful. I wonder if this can be recreated for two sides of the front door.
