After Hurricane Sandy
There is bad news here on Long Island...
My street is on the North shore, we have a lot of trees down...
The South Shore is worse... many houses are under water or got washed away.
In Breezy Point, Brooklyn 100+ houses burned down...
and in NYC there is the flooding in the subway...
Somehow, at my house we are lucky enough to keep
electricity, wifi, and tv....
We are very thankful today!
Our neighbors are eating, showering,
and spending time at my house...
Our prayers go out to all who were in harm's way...
Stay strong!
Stay strong!

ReplyDeleteSo glad you're okay and able to help some who didn't fare as well. We may not be close in miles but you're close in our thoughts and prayers! Wishing all of you well.
ReplyDeleteThank God you are ok! You are very blessed and lucky ones. Wishing you and your family and friends well and praying for the speedy recovery of electricity to all who have lost it.
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine that kind of damage! So glad your family is fine and you have utilities and can bless others with them.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm not the only American thinking about you all. Glad to hear you still have power since it is a bit cold. God Bless.
