Creating a Pedestal Bowl for a Candy Buffet
I was in search of clear vessels and pedestal
dishes for a candy buffet I was planning for
my daughter's Sweet 16 party.
The thrift store provided me with all kinds of inexpensive
clear vases, glass bowls, and vessels for less than $15.00 total.
I was however still in search of pedestal dishes that I needed to give height to my table display.
I searched my house and decided to use what I had.
Today I flipped the glass globe from the old lighting fixture over and glued it onto another old ceramic light fixture.
The 2 pieces fit like a glove!
I also used a fishbowl on top of a ceramic cup and a pie plate attached to a repurposed base.
E6000 glue securely glued all the bowls to the bases. (affiliate link)
The pedestal bowls were the perfect addition to the candy buffet and the one I made from the light was by far my favorite!
I saved money and time creating the perfect pedestal bowls from what I had.
