DIY Counter Corbels

I love the look of wooden corbels.

I especially like the ones under kitchen counter tops.

I've had my eye out for some for a while and the other day
I found this ugly brown pair at a garage sale and quickly got to work painting them black to match my counter tops.

Next step was a little distressing.

and then I mounted them under my counter top.

I think they look great and add a lot of

character to the kitchen!

  1. I love that look, Susan! If I had a counter top like that I would do the same thing. How great that you find them at a garage sale, too.
