How to Make a Crib Spring Memo Board

I've always loved the crib spring
at Funky Junk Interiors and I really 
wanted one for my kitchen. 

I posted my need for a crib spring on Facebook...
and got one the very next day!

 It is perfect for the entry wall in my kitchen...

I'm using clothespins to hold cards, memos, and pictures!

Best of all it's magnetic!

Now I'm looking for another one to paint for my office!

  8. Lucky you! I had my eye on a red-painted crib spring at my favorite consignment store...but it had a price tag of over $50, so I passed! Love the look of yours.

  10. Love this! I guess since we're now banned from using, selling, etc. any crib, I can take my kids' crib and at least salvage the springs -- great idea and love the way you decorated it!

  18. I love it looking rustic! I love the Season's Greetings sign on it too! I never even thought about them being magnetic!!! I have another one (that I also found outside a dumpster)that I'm stashing away for my daughter's room. I'll have to use some magnets on that one!
