Primitive Bunny Silhouette Sign

Today I'm going to create a rustic and repurposed easy Easter bunny silhouette sign.

Rustic Shelf Bunny silhouette

This was a simple project with a primitive look.

First, I grabbed a bunny silhouette from the Graphics Fairy.

I enlarged the silhouette by eyeballing the easy design and sketching it onto a piece of parchment paper.

I then transferred the design onto an old piece of beat up antique shelving using carbon paper in between the layers.

I painted the image on the shelf in with black craft paint.

I let the paint dry, then heavily distressed the image with sandpaper.

I'm so happy with the rustic look of this bunny silhouette and it was so easy to do!
