Chalkboard Drawer Message Center
An old dresser drawer becomes a message center with clips for photos or memos.
I used an old dresser drawer that no longer had a dresser to belong to...
The first step was to spray the inside of the drawer with chalkboard paint.
When the chalkboard paint dried I painted the inside and the outside of the drawer with white paint then heavily distressed with coarse sandpaper.
On the inside I cut a piece of black metal pipe to fit snugly inside the box.
I added clips with rings to the pipe to hang notes, tickets, or photos inside the box.
I added a length of thick jute to the top of the box so it can be hung on the wall.
And that's it... an easy project for an entry way to keep notes and messages handy.
Throw car keys on the shelf for an easy grab and go.
