Easy Rustic Magnetic Chalkboards
Here a couple of simple projects with rustic charm.
I found pre-made chalkboards on clearance at Michaels.
For the first one I removed the jute string then used the holes to screw the chalkboard to a pallet board I had leftover from another project.
I attached a wire to the back for hanging and magnetic letters to the chalkboard to hold notes.
Probably the easiest project ever!
The second chalkboard was used in much the same way but I attached it to a piece of painted distressed wood.
I spray painted a cup pull to match the edge of the chalkboard and attached it to the bottom as a chalk holder.
The magnets on this chalkboard are scrabble tiles dipped in a vinegar/steel wool solution that ages the look of the wood.
Both of these magnetic chalkboards got an upgrade with some reclaimed wood and decorative magnets.
