How to Make a Unique Chippy Frame
Sometimes the leftover pieces just work.
While looking through my pile of scrap wood I ran across a few pieces of old trim that just worked together.

I cut the top triangular piece and created a base with another scrap of wood, then added a third trim piece to the front with wood glue and nails.
I painted the whole piece with Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint which gave it the cohesive chippy look then added a small clip to the center.
A small vintage photo of two BFF's was clipped to the frame and is easy to change out whenever you want to add a new photo.
Love it!! Found your blog recently and spent hours here :) lots of inspiration - thank you!

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Ivory Jean! 😊
DeleteSusan this is such a pretty frame, but more important is the fact that you were able to envision this from just a bunch of pieces of wood!
