Easter Basket

This may be my new favorite Annie Sloan chalk paint color....

Duck Egg... with dark wax!

I painted a thrift store crate with Duck Egg, then waxed with dark wax. I wanted a very aged look with darker corners.
I added a little brass bling for Easter...

I left the handle natural wood...

This is truly an awesome spring color,
clear waxed for a lighter look or dark wax for age.

I get all my Annie Sloan chalk paint at my local distributor...

  1. I love this, Susan! What a great caddy and I love the "eggs" label you put on it. Love Duck Egg ~ I did my dresser in that color a couple of years ago {shortly after we had moved}. I still love how it looks.

  5. Put on your Easter bonnet, with all the trimmings on it, because I'm sure it will be as cute as your basket.
