Wedding Project ~ A Chair for the Bride to Be

I was lucky enough to find 10 of these great chairs.

The loveliness speaks for itself.

The metal is rusty and the wood is dirty but they clean up very nicely!

With a coat of white paint and some embellishing, thanks to the Graphics Fairy for the crown.

This chair will be fit for the princess.

  7. Hi Beth,
I'm happy to let you in on the secret, sorry I couldn't email you directly, you are on "no-reply"... anyway, I printed out a crown image from the Graphics Fairy and coated the printed side of the paper with Modge Podge. I stuck it to the painted chair, smoothed it down very well to remove any bubbles and let it dry over night. In the morning I wet the paper and started rubbing until all the paper had been rubbed off leaving just the image. If any image gets damaged you can fix it up with a sharpie fine point then coat the whole thing with a top coat to protect it.
I hope you get this message and have fun!
