Enamelware Tray Memo Board
A vintage enamelware tray gets a fun and
useful transformation today!
A couple of coats of chalkboard paint and the addition of
a scrabble shelf to hold the chalk.
This old tray not only a chalkboard but magnetic to boot!
The magnets are scrabble pieces with round magnets glued to the back.
A Disc is glued to the back for hanging...
A great invention that will hang almost anything to your wall!
The chipped and worn edges of this tray are authentic and intact giving this memo board a spectacular vintage appeal.
Coupons, photos, and tickets are kept in view while
the chalkboard is the perfect place to write a quick reminder.
With or without the chalkboard paint the
magnetic memo board is a winner!

I just found a round enamel tray at our local thrift store. I think it is so cool! Not sure I am "brave" enough to paint it yet. Great idea though!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, I just put a few of these in my shop space and kept a couple...I know what I can do with them now if I dont use them for anything else.
ReplyDeleteI love enamelware! You have made this piece so cute and functional! I don't have an enamelware tray, but I'm gonna be on the lookout for one now! Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful idea, as I like that it is magnetic and chalk board, double duty, but how do you have it attatched to the wall? Thanks for sharing.
